Friends of CharacterPlus Fall Party
The Friends of CharacterPlus are hosting their 10th Annual Fall Party and After-Party on Friday, November 21 at The Racquet Club East. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Otto are serving as hosts of the event, which will honor Linda McKay with the Sandy McDonnell Dedication to Character Award. The event features a Cocktail Party from 7 to 9 pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and an After-Party from 9:30 to 11:30 pm with cocktails, desserts and music. read more.

Develop Your Skills with CharacterPlus Workshops
CharacterPlus offers learning opportunities throughout the year for educators who are committed to building strong school communities where students feel valued and can succeed. Most opportunities are available at no additional cost to members, and are open to teachers, administrators, students, parents, school board members and community members. Non-members can take part in programs on an as-needed basis. CharacterPlus National Conference
The 21st annual CharacterPlus National Conference is scheduled for June 15-16, 2015 with pre-conference workshops on June 14 at the St. Charles Convention Center. Registration for the conference will open in January.
The 2014 Conference featured nationally known keynotes and character development experts who gave our attendees real strategies that they could implement right away. More than 600 educators from 15 states attended in 2014.
If you are interested in presenting at the 2015 conference, the “Call for Proposals” will be open until December 2. We are accepting proposals for full and half-day preconference sessions and one-hour sessions during the regular conference. read more.
