Dr. Schmoker is the 2014 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP) for his publications and presentations. He has consulted and keynoted for hundreds of organizations throughout the US, Canada, Australia and the kingdom of Jordan.

    Heather Staker, one of the world’s foremost experts on K-12 blended learning, is the founder and president of Ready to Blend, a research initiative focused on helping educators and families use blended learning to improve the achievement and well-being of K-12 children. In the fall of 2014, Heather published Blended: Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools (John Wiley & Sons) with co-author Michael B. Horn, a groundbreaking book that will serve as a eld guide and eye-opener for the builders and in uencers of the next generation of K-12 learning environments.
